1] Heard the learned A.G.P. for the applicants-State and learned counsel for the respondent/s.
2 CA 7219/17 & Ors. 2] In view of the nature of subject matter, I do not find any impediment to grant stay to the execution and implementation to the impugned award passed in respective Land Acquisition Reference Petitions. Hence, the execution and implementation to the impugned awards is hereby stayed subject to condition that the appellant - Acquiring Body shall deposit the entire decretal amount awarded by the Reference Court, alongwith interest accrued thereon in this appeal, within a period of twelve weeks. On failure to deposit the amount within the stipulated period, the stay granted shall stand automatically vacated, with liberty to the claimants to take recourse to law, for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court. Civil applications for stay are disposed of accordingly.
