The petitioner seeks payment of compensation as per the Award passed by the Competent Authority on 13.01.2016. When the property has been acquired and the Award passed, it is bounden duty of the respondents to pay the compensation amount as per the Award.

The respondents shall pay the compensation amount to the eligible persons as per the Award passed expeditiously, preferably within a period of six (06) months.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
