It is submitted that the proposal is already recommended by the University on 5.9.2014, thereby recommending the case of the petitioner for extension of age of superannuation, however, the State thereafter has not taken any decision on it. 3.

It seems that there is a dispute about the applicability of the Government Resolutions dated 5.3.2011, 29.11.2011 and the applicability of the said scheme to the teachers working in Colleges of Social Work.

It is for the Government to take decision on the said proposal. As the said proposal is still pending with the Government, we pass the following order :

a) The Respondent No.1 shall take decision on the proposal recommended by the University in respect of extension of age of superannuation of the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law and policy expeditiously, preferably within three (3) months, considering the fact that it is pending for almost two (2) years.
