DATE : JUNE 19, 2020 PER COURT :- Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that after the order was passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.11501 of 2019 on 17.10.2019, the petitioner approached belatedly to the M.S.E.D.C.L. seeking reconnection of electricity supply. Said application is filed on 16.12.2019 and is yet to be decided.

It appears that the petitioner has also filed a Civil Suit. We are not going into the merits of the matter. It is for the petitioner to convince the authority, as directed by this Court under the earlier order.

The petitioner has also filed an application to the authority. In the light of that, the respondent/authority shall decide the application (Exh.`C') of the petitioner on its own merits and preferably, within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above directions, the petition stands disposed of.
