DATE : 15.06.2022.

PER COURT :

1.

In these matters the petitioners are identically placed

925wp5219.22 putting forth a request that their revision proceedings under Section 138 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 are pending before the Hon'ble Minister, State Excise, Mantralaya, Mumbai, (respondent No.

2) herein, may be decided within the stipulated period. 2.

The learned AGP, for respondent-State submits that the Hon'ble Minister would endeavour to decide these revision petitions within 12 months.

3.

We find from the vehement submissions of Mr. Savant, learned Advocate for the petitioners that these petitioners being harassed because of the Wine Shops, which are maintained and operated, on the ground floor of the Society Building, therefore, the pending revisions should be decided expeditiously. 4.

In view of the above, these petitions are disposed off. 5.

We are confident that respondent No. 2 would decide the pending proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, on or before 15th October, 2022, by following the due procedure laid down in law and by granting reasonable opportunities of hearing to all the contesting parties.
