DATE :- 12th September, 2018 Per Court :- The only grievance of the Petitioner is that the proposal is submitted to Respondent No.1 through Respondent No.2 for grant of approval to the post of the Petitioner as a Cook in a special school being run by Respondent No.3/ Institute. Perusal of the proposal would show that the District Social Welfare Officer submitted the proposal for grant of no objection to the appointment of the Petitioner on the post of Cook. Further submission is that though the proposal is submitted on 23.05.2012, till date no decision is taken by the Authority and the Authority is sitting idle over the proposal.

In view of this limited grievance raised by the Petitioner, we

*2* 922wp4943o17 are of the opinion that this petition can be disposed of by issuing the directions to Respondent No.1 to decide the proposal received by him through Respondent No.2 dated 23.05.2012 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within EIGHT WEEKS from today. Needless to state, the proposal be decided on it's own merits as the Petitioner is seeking direct appointment on the post of the Cook.
