The grievance of the petitioner is that the award has been passed on 17.12.2014, however the compensation has not been paid in accordance with the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to 'Act-2013'). 2.
Mr. Manorkar, learned counsel for the respondent submits that petitioner is entitled for compensation as per the Act-2013, and the proposal
2 wp 4129.18 to that effect is also sent to the regional office.

The petitioner claims that even compensation as per the award passed is not paid to him.

According to Mr. Manorkar, the learned counsel, the amount of compensation as per the award is already deposited.

The petitioner may receive the compensation, under protest, as per the award passed. The respondents shall determine the amount of compensation as per the Act-2013 within a period of six (6) months from today, and the payment according to the same shall be made after adjusting the payment which is made as per the award already passed.

The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
