This application is filed seeking extension of time of six weeks for compliance of the condition of depositing 50% amount of the recovery certificate.

It is the contention of the applicant that he is a government contractor and his bills are outstanding. By now, the applicant has deposited an amount of Rs.6,00,000/-. However, Rs.6,00,000/- more amount is required to be deposited by the applicant. The recovery certificate for Rs.21,50,844/- plus interest at the rate of 14% peranum is issued against him.

The learned Advocate for the respondent/bank states that the request of the applicant for installments towards re-payment of the dues is in consideration of the bank.

In that view of the matter, the applicant is granted four weeks time to deposit the balance amount of 50% of the recovery certificate. 5.
