Heard Mr. Sayyed Tauseef, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Our attention is invited to an order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Civil Application No.5036 of 2019 whereby the Committee was directed to decide the claim of the petitioner on or before 16.09.2019. Mr. Sayyed Tauseef, learned counsel submits that in spite of this direction, again there was delay and the committee, ultimately, decided the claim on 16.10.2019 i.e. a month later. Though the claim of the petitioner is now decided, the delay caused in the

2 910-cp-303-19.doc decision, in spite of the extension of time granted to the Committee the fact that the Committee was facing the contempt proceedings on the grievance of non compliance of the order passed in a writ petition i.e. Writ Petition No.10359 of 2017, cannot be lost sight of. 2.

As such, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the Contempt Petition with costs of Rs.1,000/-, to be paid by each of the members of the Committee including and the Chairperson. Costs be deposited in this Court within four weeks from today. On deposit of the costs, the same be remitted to the account of the "Day Care Center" or the Creche, operational in this Court.
