Heard both the sides. The petitioner's application for premature release is pending with the respondent No. 2 since the year 2022. It is being submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that possibly the petitioner would be placed in the category where he would be required to under go actual imprisonment of 24 years, which period has already lapsed. 2.

We dispose of the criminal writ petition by directing the respondent No. 2 to pass appropriate order on petitioner's application as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of two (02) weeks from today.
