The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for six months and to pay fine of Rs.2,000/-, in default to suffer simple imprisonment for one month.

Considering the quantum of sentence and the fact that the appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in near future, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended pending the 1 / 2
