The contention of Mr. V.D. Salunke, learned counsel appearing for petitioners is that in relation to the execution of the development work within the jurisdiction of the respondent - Gram panchayat, already a team for causing enquiry in the matter of mismanagement of funds was constituted. According to him, the committee has already held the private respondents responsible for mismanagement of the funds and as such it was expected of respondent authorities not only to take action where the office occupied by such private respondents, but also to initiate criminal action against them.

We have considered the submissions in view of the claim put forth in other petitions by respondents.

In view of the inquiry conducted against the private respondents, recovery was made from them.

Apart from above, already instructions are issued by respondent no.3 to lodge a complaint to the police station. 5.

In view of above, we do not see any reason to pass further orders in the matter. The petition accordingly stands disposed of. However, petitioners will be at liberty to approach this Court, in case any fresh development in the matter.
