PER COURT :- 1.

Mr. Tripathi, the learned counsel for the Respondent submits that, the Acquiring Body has already forwarded the proposal for acquisition to the State. However, the Collector has asked the Respondents to explore the possibility of agreement with the applicants and the meeting with the applicants is scheduled on 22nd June, 2016.

In case, the parties arrive at an agreement there would be no necessity for a long drawn process of acquisition. However, if, the meeting is not successful then, the proposal submitted by the

2 CP261.16 Acquiring Body shall be proceeded further by the Authorities in accordance with law expeditiously.

In light of the above, the contempt stands purged. The Contempt Petition is disposed of.
