Heard learned counsel appearing for the applicant and learned APP for respondent -State.

The learned APP vehemently opposed the prayer for condonation of delay. However, taking into consideration the fact that applicant/appellant has not received any benefit by delaying the filing of appeal, on the contrary, the appellant is in jail.
