This petition is filed with following prayer:- "B) That by issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in like nature, the respondent no.2 may kindly be directed to decide the proposal submitted by respondent no.3 dated 12.3.2012 and 28.9.2012 in respect of counting of previous service of petitioner for the purpose of placement to senior scale/selection grade and fixation of salary."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the proposal submitted by respondent no. 3 in respect of counting of previous service of petitioner for the purpose of placement to senior scale/selection grade and fixation of salary, is pending with respondent no.2 from the year 2012, no decision is taken. .
He further submits that the petitioner has also addressed an application dated 18/9/2014 to the Joint Director, Higher Education, Pune Region, Pune, however said application is also not decided.

We direct the respondent no.2 - The Deputy Director of Education, Higher Education, Pune Division, Pune to decide the proposal dated 12/3/2012 and 28/9/2012 submitted by respondent no.3, if already not decided, as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of six (6) months from today, in accordance with law.

Writ Petition stands disposed of on the above terms.
