Heard both sides.

Perused the earlier order of this Court. The order of the Labour Court as confirmed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, should not be given effect to or implemented till the decision on this Letters Patent Appeal.

However, since there is a condition imposed for grant of stay, which has been complied with by the appellant, we are informed that 50% of the amount deposited by the appellant has been withdrawn by

2 CA/4709/2016 first respondent - present applicant, we direct that the balance sum be invested in a fixed deposit with a nationalized bank. The deposit shall be initially for a period of 36 months and to abide by the final decision in this Letters Patent Appeal.

If the Letters Patent Appeal is not decided within this period, the deposit shall be renewed for a further period of 12 months. 5.

Civil Application disposed of.
