DATED : 27th JULY, 2016 PER COURT :- This petition is filed seeking direction to respondent no.4 to consider the claim of petitioner for fixation of pay in view of the services rendered to respondent no.6 school from 1.8.1956 to 3.10.1962.

Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly states that the petitioner stood retired in

wp7361.16 the year 1993, however, he submits that number of applications/representations were given to the respondents for redressal of grievance raised in this petition.

Upon perusal of the documents placed on record, it appears that there are no documents placed on record explaining inordinate delay in filing this Writ Petition.

In the facts of present case, as already observed, this petition is filed after 23 years of retirement of the petitioner. By any stretch of imagination, such stale claim cannot be considered by invoking extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court which may also lead to adjudication of disputed questions of facts.

In that view of the matter, the petition stands rejected.
