APPLICANT

VERSUS

The State of Maharashtra ...

RESPONDENT .....

Shri A.V. Bagadia, Advocate holding for Shri Vijay Sharma, Advocate for applicant Shri P.N. Kutti, A.P.P. for respondent/ State .....

CORAM:

A.I.S. CHEEMA, J.

DATED:

7th April, 2016.

ORAL ORDER :

1.

Heard counsel for the applicant - accused. Perused record. The learned counsel fairly states that the accused is in custody since 14.12.2009 and instead of pressing for bail, the counsel states that, hearing of the appeal may be expedited. 2.

Looking to the nature of offence and the guilt

Cri.Appln.No.1993/2015 established, as well as the fact that the judgment of the trial court itself shows that the accused had even absconded from jail, the counsel appears to be fair in not pressing the bail application. The application is thus disposed of.
