Instant application is for pre-arrest bail apprehending arrest in crime no.178 of 2024 registered with Shivajinagar Police Station, District Beed on 20-04-2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 3, 25 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is falsely involved. That, he is not named in the FIR. That, his name is cropped up from statement of arrested accused. He further submitted that in the statement of arrested accused, it has come that present applicant has handed over pistol to him six months back in

{2} ABA 558 OF 2025 November, 2023. Thus, learned counsel submitted that weapon is already seized and therefore, custodial interrogation is not required. Hence, he urges for relief of anticipatory bail. 3.

Learned APP has strongly opposed application and she has placed on record statement of arrested accused. She further submits that present applicant is absconding since long. 4.

Considering the above submissions and nature of allegations, for taking investigation to its logical end, this Court is not inclined to grant relief as prayed. Accordingly, following order is passed :

ORDER

Application is rejected.
