The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the Director i.e. respondent No. 2 has recommended the grant of the appropriate pay scale to the petitioner and has forwarded the same to respondent No. 1 on 27.09.2017. However, no decision has been taken on it as yet.

In case the proposal recommending grant of appropriate pay scale to the petitioner is forwarded to the respondent No.1 and if

2 86-WP-6339-2019 the same is pending with the respondent No.1 (Page 56), then respondent No.1 shall take decision upon it on its own merits preferably within a period of six months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
