Mr.Shirsat, learned counsel for the petitioners states that interest amount on the F.Ds. which were kept with the Respondent Bank has not been paid. The petitioner had approached the Bank, however, no heed is paid to the representation filed by the petitioner (Exh.A).

Mr.Paithankar, learned counsel submits that the deposits are of the year 1997-1999. At that time the accounts were manually operated. Some details are being sought. The petitioners may give the copies of the documents available with them, so that necessary
steps can be taken.

It appears that the petitioners have raised their grievance with the Bank. The petitioners may approach the Bank with the documents in their possession and give the necessary information to the Respondent-bank. Upon receipt of the same, the Respondentbank shall take decision on the representation/application (Exh.A) expeditiously, preferably within one (1) month of the receipt of the documents.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
