1. Proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Junior Clerk on compassionate ground is rejected as the staffing pattern was not sanctioned. Learned Addl.G.P. submits that now the staffing patterns of Class-III posts have been fixed by the State on 20.01.2019. In view of that, the impugned order is quashed and set aside.

The Education Officer shall reconsider the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six months from today.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
