DATE : 03.12.2018 P.C. :- Learned counsel for the petitioners Mr. Palodkar by way of pursis submits before this Court that when the petitions were filed in this Court, the Competent Authority was not constituted as per Section 51 of the Right to Fair

( 2 ) 15 wp 4955.17 Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The learned counsel then submitted that certain communications are issued by the State Government and the copy of the communications dated 27.06.2018 and 06.08.2018 are placed along with the pursis. It is the submission of Mr. Palodkar that now the petitioners had approached the Competent Authority raising their grievance. Mr.Palodkar then submitted that the Competent Authority is in the process of hearing the parties, as such the petitioners be permitted to withdraw the petitions. 2.

In view of the statement of the learned counsel, the petitions are allowed to be withdrawn. Needless to state that the Competent Authority will take appropriate decision after hearing the parties as expeditiously as possible. Points raised in the petition are kept open for consideration by the Competent Authority.

With these observations, the petitions are allowed to be withdrawn and are accordingly disposed of.
