It is further informed that the matter is scheduled on 23rd April, 2018. The aforesaid authority will consider the aspect of grant of stay on the said date and would thereafter decide the matter on its own merit in accordance with law, on the adjourned date.

In the facts of this case, this petition can be disposed of by directing the appellate authority to take appropriate decision on the appeal tendered by the petitioner, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 3 months from today, and it is accordingly directed.
