The petitioners seek approval to the proposal submitted by it to the appointment of 11 teachers as per Exh.P-1. It is submitted that the said proposal is pending consideration with the Education Officer.

Considering the fact that no decision has been taken on the said proposal by the Education Officer, we direct the Education Officer i.e. Respondent No.2 to take decision on the said proposal in respect of the employees as detailed in Exh.P-1 on its own merits in accordance with law and policy expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months. While considering the said proposal all the relevant aspects be considered including the contention of the

petitioner of it being minority institution.

The Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
