Mr. Shelke, the learned advocate submits that the CEO of Municipal Council, Dharmabad has forwarded the proposal for appointing the legal heirs of the Safai Kamgar as per the Lad Committee recommendations. The Collector in turn on 08.09.2014 has forwarded the same to the Urban Development Department. However no decision has been taken on it as yet.

The learned Government Pleader appears for Respondent Nos.1 to 4-State. We have heard the learned Government Pleader also.

The learned counsel Mr. Shelke further submits that under Right to Information Act the information was sought about the status of the proposal and said that the same is under consideration by Respondent No.3.

In light of the above, Respondent No.3 shall take decision upon the proposal forwarded by the Municipal Council, Dharmabad through Collector regarding appointment of the legal heirs of the Safai Kamgars as per the Lad Committee Recommendations expeditiously, preferably within four months.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
