1) Attention of this Court was drawn to the provisions of sections 248 and 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code 1966 by learned counsel for the respondent and it was submitted that against the order made by the Deputy Director of Land Records proceeding needs to be filed before the State Government if the powers were delegated by the Director of Land Records to the Deputy Director of Land Records. There is such a case. In view of this position the proceeding is disposed of as not tenable with liberty to file appropriate proceeding.
