This civil application seeking permission to purchase the medicines as per Regulation Nos. 156 and 179 adopted by the Ad-hoc Committee on 24.02.2020 and 04.03.2020.

We have heard Miss. Talekar, the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

The purchase of the medicines would be necessary for the Hospital run by Shri Saibaba Sansthan. The Ad-hoc Committee was appointed by this Court.

We permit the applicant / original respondent no.2 to purchase the medicines as per Regulation Nos.156 and 179 adopted by the Ad-hoc Committee on 24.02.2020 and 04.03.2020. The tender process shall be followed by the Ad-hoc Committee. The tenders received shall be finalized by the Ad-hoc Committee in consultation with the Civil Surgeon, Ahmednagar, the District Health Officer, Ahmednagar and the Medical Superintendent of Saibaba Hospital. These experts would guide the Ad-hoc committee in finalizing the tender, the rate and quality of the medicines as these experts would be better suited to comment upon the quality and the price of the medicines.
