Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant and the learned APP for the Respondent - State. Perused the papers on record. 2.

Since the Applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.124/2025, registered with Satara Police Station, District Chatrapati Sambhajinagar (City), for the offence punishable under Sections 64(2)(m), 352, 351(2), 351(3) and Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, she has preferred this Application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for Anticipatory Bail.

It is the case of the Prosecution that, the Informant, a lady aged thirty [30] years, was working as a maid servant in the Applicant's house. The Accused No.1 - Azharuddin Farooqui, who is related to the Applicant, used to visit the Applicant's house. The Informant and Accused No.1 got acquainted. In August - 2024, the Accused No.1 committed rape on the Informant in the house of the Applicant. Thereafter, from time to time, Accused No.1 raped the Informant in the house of the Applicant. The Informant stopped working in the house of the Applicant. The Applicant and Accused No.1, by calling the Informant on the phone, insisted that, she should join the work as the maid servant. Due to the harassment by the Applicant and Accused No.1, she approached the Police and lodged the report.

This Court, by order dated 11/07/2025, allowed the Application for Anticipatory Bail of Accused No.1, which was registered as Anticipatory Bail Applicant No.667/2025. The only allegations against the Applicant is that, the offence was committed in her house and she insisted the Informant to join the work as the maid servant at her residence. The Applicant was protected by the order dated 15/04/2025. According to the learned APP, she has co-operated in the investigation and attended the Police Station. In this view of the matter, I am inclined to confirm the interim protection granted to the Applicant. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

[I] The interim protection granted to the Applicant by this Court vide order dated 15/04/2025 is confirmed.
