We have heard Mr. Thombre, the learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Karlekar, the learned Additional Govt. Pleader.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, the term of the managing committee be extended as the elections cannot be held before the expiry of the term of the managing committee of respondent No.4. The District Deputy Registrar has forwarded the proposal to the Director of Marketing, Maharashtra State under letter dated 18/6/2020.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Govt. Pleader that the Director of Marketing has forwarded the proposal to the

State Government and the State Government is to take decision on the same.

The State Government shall take decision on the proposal forwarded by the Director of Marketing, Maharashtra State, Pune about extension of the period of managing committee of respondent no.4 on or before 25th July 2020. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 5.

It is made clear that, we have not considered the merits of the contentions of the parties.
