Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for respondent no.1.

On the date prescribed for filling in the application for the post of Judicial Magistrate (F.C.), admittedly, the petitioner crossed the age of 35 years. In that view of the matter, we cannot grant any relief to the petitioner.

It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, that the Government of Maharashtra has taken decision on 31st March 2016 to extend upper age limit as 40 years. However, neither such decision nor notification to that effect is placed on record. Therefore, we are unable to persuade ourselves to grant any relief.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
