Mr. Suryawanshi, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that a resolution was passed by the Municipal Corporation to grant compensation and also to extend the benefit of appointment on compassionate ground. It is submitted that compensation is granted but benefit of appointment on compassionate ground is not given. The petitioner has made representation to Respondent No.2 on 04.03.2022, however, the same is not yet decided.
{2} wp6135.22.odt Mr. Tope, learned Counsel appearing for Respondents No.2 and 3 submits that the resolution does not speak of giving appointment on compassionate ground.
The representation of the petitioner is pending for almost one year. Respondent No.2 may take decision on the said representation (Page 21) on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy expeditiously, preferably within six months. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
