The instant petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to decide the revision application tendered by the petitioner on 19.03.2018 in accordance with the provisions of law after extending the opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today, and it is accordingly directed.

It is clarified that this court has not considered the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner in the instant petition. It would be open for the revisional authority to consider all the contentions including issue of maintainability of the revision application presented before the concerned authority.
