The petitioner, who is the original informant, is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the matter having reached the stage of passing judgment after hearing the arguments, for last more than one year the judgment has not been pronounced as can be seen from the case status (Exhibit-'B'). 3.

It does appear that after the arguments were heard, the matter was reserved for judgment for the first time on 17.12.2021 and since thereafter, for few dates it was similarly listed for judgment and later on from 07.03.2022, the case is stated to be awaiting compliance. 1/2

Whatever may be the case, once having reserved the matter for judgment, we cannot comprehend as to how the matter can be protracted. We dispose of the writ petition by directing the concerned Judge to pass the judgment as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 02.05.2023.
