The Petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 07.04.2018 passed by the Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Ahmednagar. The learned AGP points out that a revision to the State Government is maintainable under Section 154(2) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 since the impugned order is passed by the Joint Registrar. If the order was passed by any authority other than the Additional Registrar or Joint Registrar, a revision would lie before the Registrar.

Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioners to approach the State Government by preferring a revision under Section 154.
