Petitioner is praying for issuance of direction to respondents to consider the representation for allotment of land, originally belonging to him, which was acquired by the State Government way back in the year 1966 by observing the procedure prescribed under law. 2.

Petitioner contends that the land has not been utilised for the purpose for which the same was acquired and the State has decided to lease out the land and has issued public notice in that regard. Since the land has already been acquired in the year 1966 and the petitioner has received compensation, he has no legal entitlement to claim back the property. So far as lease of the land in pursuance to public notice is concerned, it would be open for the petitioner to participate in the proceedings. No interference
