When the present petition is taken up for hearing, it is informed that the order which is impugned in the present petition is also challenged before the Deputy Director of Land Records, Aurangabad by filing an appeal in that regard. When, the petitioners have availed the alternate efficacious remedy, the petitioners shall not have filed the present petition, pending the appeal before the said authority. It is informed that at the relevant time, the Deputy Director of Land Record, Aurangabad was not available. It is informed that the said office is now functioning.

In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the contentions raised, the present writ petition is
