The caste claim made by the petitioner is pending since 2011. Though the application was heard finally on 01-02-2021 no order has been passed. On 29-10-2021 the application was closed for orders. Accordingly we direct the respondent No.2 to dispose of the caste claim made by the petitioner by passing an appropriate order within eight weeks from today. The order that would be passed by the respondent No.2 shall be communicated within one week from the date of passing the order. If the caste claim of the petitioner is allowed, caste validity certificate should be issued within one week from the date of passing of order. If it is decided against the petitioner, the petitioner would be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings. The writ petition is allowed. Rule is made absolute in above terms. No order as to costs.
