The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction against the Respondent No.2 to decide the application dated 24th March, 2021 submitted by the petitioner and to register the crime against one Shaikh Salim Paigambar and others, who are responsible for the suicide of the daughter of the petitioner.

The record reveals that the application dated 21st March, 2018 was addressed to the Collector. Letter dated 24th March, 2021 was addressed to the Superintendent of Police. Letter dated 25th April, 2018 does not pertain to the suicide of the daughter of the petitioner. The records do not indicate that the petitioner herein had lodged complaint/F.I.R. at Naldurga Police Station, in view of which no direction can be issued to investigate the crime. 1 / 2

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to file the F.I.R. at Naldurga Police Station.

Leave with liberty granted. Criminal writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. In the event such F.I.R. is lodged, the concerned police officer shall look into the grievance raised by the petitioner and take appropriate decision.
