PER COURT :- 1.

The petitioner is praying for transfer of names of 20 voters, who are said to have been included in Ward No.2, to Ward No.3, where the population of the Scheduled Caste category voters is concentrated.

The relief claimed in the petition is not in consonance with Rule 3 of the Bombay Village Panchayats (Number of Members, Divisions into Wards and Reservation of Seats) Rules, 1966. Apart from this, as per the data provided by the Election Commission, there is no population of Scheduled Caste category included in ward no.2.
