Learned advocate for the petitioners as also the learned advocate for the respondent No.2 who happens to be the wife of the applicant No.1 unanimously submit that the parties were before the Supreme Court invoking the extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 142 of the Constitution of India for grant of a decree of divorce by mutual consent. They unanimously submit that the Regular Criminal Case pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, stood disposed of by virtue of the order of the Supreme Court and therefore nothing survives in these petitions.
