Having heard Mr. Deshmukkh, learned senior counsel and Mr. Pulkundwar, learned A.G.P., we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with the following order:

ORDER

a.

Mr. Deshmukkh, learned senior counsel has informed that the petitioners have already submitted their say in response to the call given by the impugned notice dated March 3, 2023 to the Revenue Authorities.

b.

He has further informed on instructions that till this date the revenue entry has not undergone any change as has been referred to in the impugned order dated 3rd March, 2023.

c.

In this background, we direct the Revenue Authorities to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners as has been sought to be canvassed in the explanation which is informed to be already tendered to the Revenue

(2) 916-wp-4810-2023 Authorities in response to the impugned notice. Let the aforesaid decision be taken in any case within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of this order. d.

As a sequel of above, we direct the Revenue Authorities to maintain status quo as on today in relation to carrying out the change in the revenue record.
