Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed application with the District Collector, Jalgaon for converting the land from Occupant Class-2 to Occupant Class-1. The petitioner is ready to pay the requisite Nazrana. Though the application is pending since 01.03.2016, the District Collector Jalgaon has not taken decision on it as yet. 2.

We have heard the learned AGP also.

In case the application Exh. D, dated 26.02.2016 is pending with the Collector, Jalgaon, the Collector shall decide the said application on its own merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within three months.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
