The petitioner/Education Trust seeks a direction to respondent No.3 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon, to consider the proposal for grant of permission to suspend the Headmaster, pending disciplinary action, in view of serious charges having been levelled upon him. Prayer Clause (B), therefore, reads as under :- "B.

By issuing the writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the like nature the respondent no. 3/the Ld. Education Officer [Secondary], Z.P. Jalgaon, may kindly be directed to decide the proposal submitted by petitioner management on 27/07/2021, 24.08.2021, 23.09.2021 and 21/12/2021 thereby granting permission to suspend respondent no. 4 from the post of H.M. of the school."

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off, with a direction to respondent No.3, to decide the proposal, submitted by the petitioner/Management on 27/07/2021, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 21/10/2022. Needless to state, the said proposal would be decided in the light of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Regulation Act, 1977 and the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981.
