26.09.2018 P.C. :- The petitioner states that he has already approached the Reference Court objecting to the award passed by the Land Acquisition Officer. The petitioner claims that he alone is entitled to claim the amount, however the names of other persons have also been included in the award. It would be open for the petitioner to object to the entitlement of the other persons to claim the amount of compensation in view of Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. It would be open for the petitioner to make necessary amendments in the reference application which he has already presented. 2.
