Present petition can be disposed of in view of prayer clause (B) which reads thus :- "Direct the respondent No.2 Education Officer to decide the proposal dated 6.12.2023 prepared by respondent No.3 management for grant of approval to the compassionate appointment of petitioner within stipulated period and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

Respondent No.3 management has forwarded proposal on 6.12.2023 for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground.

Learned AGP, on instructions, makes a statement that the said proposal would be decided within two weeks. 6.

In view of the said statement, we direct the respondent No.2 to decide the said proposal dated 6.12.2023 within a period of two weeks from today.
