The petitioner seeks direction against Respondent No.2 to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously. The petitioner contends that the petitioner is selected as Sarpanch and as per the statute he is required to submit validity certificate. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 14th July, 2021. The Committee may endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously preferably within six months from the date of appearance.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
