DATE : 3rd MARCH, 2017 .............................

ORDER :

1.

Mr. E.P.Sawant, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that as per the Govt. Resolution dated 22/08/2005, the limitation period for making an

2 R.A. St. 11968.2015 in W.P. 5266.2016 application for appointment on compassionate ground was reduced to one year.

2.

The mother of the original writ petitioner [for short, 'petitioner'] died in the year 2007. The petitioner filed application in the year 2011. Even as per the Govt. Resolution dated 22/08/2005, the application was not within limitation.

3.

We have also heard the learned counsel for non applicant No. 1/original writ petitioner. 4.

In the order dated 12/02/2015 passed in the Writ Petition, it was observed that earlier the limitation period was five (5) years and subsequently, as per the Govt. Resolution of the year 2010, it was reduced to one

(1) year.

5.

It appears that the said observation in the order dated 12/02/2015 is not in consonance with Govt. Resolution dated 22/08/2005.

6.

Be that as it may, the attended facts were taken into consideration while passing the order dated

3 R.A. St. 11968.2015 in W.P. 5266.2016 12/02/2015 i.e. the mother of the petitioner died in the year 2007. The petitioner has approached the respondent and the respondent had directed the petitioner to bring succession certificate. In doing so, time was lost. Considering the said aspect, we had passed order dated 12/02/2015 in Writ Petition No. 5266 of 2014. 7.

In view of the above, Review Application stands disposed of. No costs.
