The first prayer in this PIL is for quashing of an auction notice. 2.

Mr. Bora, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the impugned auction notice was stayed by an order dated 09-07-2020 and, thereafter, such auction has obviously not been conducted. 3.

Insofar as prayer (b) is concerned, Mr. Bora has prayed for appropriate orders, directing the respondents to hand over the custody of 6 bulls to Panjrapole / Gaushalas / Animal Welfare Organization that are licensed and registered or authorised or recognised with Animal Welfare Board of India or State Government or State Animal Welfare Board or Maharashtra Animal Welfare Board, to protect and preserve them.

Reacting to such submission, Mr. Lonikar, learned advocate for the respondents has placed before us a decision taken by the Maharashtra Livestock Development Board, Nagpur, in the 76th Board of Directors meeting held on 21-06-2021. He has invited our attention to agenda item no. 76(18).

2 PIL / 28 /2020 He has also referred to communication dated 17-08-2021 issued by the Regional Manager, Frozen Semen Laboratory, Harsul, Aurangabad. 5.

Copies of the resolution and the communication have been handed over to Mr. Bora.

Perusal of the aforesaid resolution and the communication shows that due steps have been taken and nothing survives for decision in this Public Interest Litigation. Accordingly, PIL No. 28 of 2020 stands disposed of. No costs.
