Heard learned counsel for both sides.

Learned counsel for Applicant submits that connected Petition bearing No. 7445/2000 and three other Petitions are pending decision and hence no prejudice will be caused to the Respondents if the Petitions are restored. He undertakes to remove office objections within a period of two weeks from today.

Learned counsel for contesting Respondent submits that ordinarily no objection would have raised by him for restoration of the Petition. However, conduct of the Applicant can be seen from various orders passed in those Petitions. It is his submission that the entire endeavour of the present Applicants is to delay the said proceeding by adopting tactics.

At this stage, learned counsel for Applicant, on instructions, makes a statement that the Applicant is ready to pay cost of Rs. 50,000/- in each Petition to the contesting Respondent for restoration of the Petition. Statement is accepted. 5.

In view of the said statement and considering the submissions made across the bar, Applications stand allowed. Writ Petition Stamp Nos. 11593/2022 and 23978/2020 stand restored

- 3 - subject to payment of cost of Rs. 50,000/- in each Petition. It is clarified that if cost is not paid within a period of two weeks from today, this order shall stand vacated and the Petition shall be treated as dismissed. Even in case, objections are not removed within this period, the Petition shall stand dismissed.

Applications stand allowed in above terms.
